Six78th Online Privacy Policy

We do our best to limit the information we require from you and never abuse what you provide us. The policies outlined below were created to inform visitors on the type of information we sometimes request and how we use it. What Information Does Six78th Collect?

Every girl is welcome to experience the SIX78th website without providing any information. But our website was created to encourage interaction and sometimes information will be requested to facilitate communication. In an effort to deliver security and integrity of personal information, SIX78th limits the information we collect to what is necessary in allowing visitors to participate in a particular activity (e.g. contests, quizzes, article submissions). For some activities the information will be non-personally identifiable information (e.g. birthday, age), but there will also be times that identifiable information is requested in order to conduct the activity. For instance your or your parent’s email address may be required in the event we need to follow up with you on information for an article you may submit. The information we request will always be limited to what is absolutely necessary to allow your involvement and we do not disclose personal information to any outside party except as disclosed in this policy.

What Does Six78th Do With the Information It Collects?

The information we are provided with will primarily be used for communicating purposes to conduct an activity. For instance, SIX78th will often offer contests and giveaways which may be entered online and will require an email address to participate. The winner will be contact by the email address they entered the contest with and required to give the email address of a parent to inform him or her of the entry and allow the parent the option to have the tween's entry deleted. Article or topic submissions for the magazine may also require contact information in order to verify facts or to follow up on details that might be necessary. All of the information we collect is securely maintained and used only for the purpose of conducting the activity. Once the activity or event is finished, we then delete any personal information collected. Information collected in a contest or giveaway will be used by our fulfillment house which is a division of Brown Ink, Media, LLC, maintaining the confidentiality of such information.

Other than as described above, we may also disclose personally identifiable information to third parties in order to comply with law or requests by law enforcement agencies, to enforce our Web Site Terms and Conditions and protect the rights, property or safety of our website, users of our website and others.

Information this privacy policy does not apply to

This privacy policy only applies to the information collected by the SIX78th web site and not to which it is linked. Any information provided when visiting other web sites by way of a link provided by SIX78th is subject to the privacy policies posted on such sites by those affiliates, or, as applicable, those of the third party organizations who run and/or own these web sites. Except as specifically stated herein, this policy also does not apply to information provided to us offline.

Parental Disclosures

If your tween has offered us an email address and name, we will keep that information on file. We keep the information to responds to any requests they have made and delete their personal information once they have been given a response. If the request requires multiple contacts, a parent’s email address will be requested and SIX78th will contact the parent for consent to continue or cease communication.

SIX78th respects the authority of all parents and will gladly offer you the information we have on file of your child for you to review or request be deleted. Upon proper identification, parents can have their child’s information sent to them or deleted by writing to us at the address listed below in our contact information.

As a new magazine, SIX78th will be growing and making changes to offer website users the best possible experience we can provide. This means we will continue to update our website and Privacy Policies as the need arises. We will notify you of any changes by posting the latest revisions date on this site.
